'Make Your Own Knife' Workshop with FKK and Steve Pellegrino

We are excited to welcome Steve Pellegrino back to town for a "make your own knife" workshop together on October 1-2 (1-2/10/22). Steve is the maker behind Pellegrino cutlery, formerly of Philadelphia and now in rural Pennsylvania. Steve is a self taught bladesmith, specialising in culinary knives and has been one of the best and most interesting young knife makers in the US for the past few years. Steve, Tomer and the team here at FKK will host this 2 day weekend "make your own knife" class for 8 people. As always, the workshop is aimed for beginners but anyone with experience who wants to spend a couple of days of fun with us and make some beautiful knives is most welcome, we're sure you'll pick up a couple of new things. For this 3rd edition of our collaborative workshops, which will take place at our facility in the neighborhood of Poblenou in the north of Barcelona, we will make a co-designed limited edition blade which we will only make 10 knives altogether, 1 for each participant and one for each of us. The workshop is structured so that the participants will spend mostly 1-on-1 time with the makers for 4 hours each of the 2 day workshop and come together for an outdoor woodfire meal on the FKK rooftop deck cooked by the 2 hosts with local produce and wines. 

We can definitely help with travel and accommodation recommendations but they are not included in the price of the workshop.
