Description
These Copper Choppers are a very limited-edition of just 4 knives made in collaboration with our dear friend Geoff Feder (Feder Knives), combining Geoff's blade design and metalworking skills with Baker Forge & Tool's American steel and our Barcelona-based finishing, grinding and sharpening skills and design work.
The blade is made from TigerMai Wavy Cu-mai style steel that incorporates 80crv2 steel with copper, made in North Carolina, these steels produce a distinctive style and pattern and powerful cutting feel.
Built for balance and precision, the knife measures 200 mm in blade length, 45–50 mm in height, and 3 mm in thickness, with an overall length of 300mm and weight of 200 g. The blade is hardened to 62–63 HRC, ensuring edge retention and performance at a professional level. The handle features a minimalist copper bolster and a black composite grip blending durability with a smooth tactile finish. Designed to perform in the kitchen and built to be admired for a lifetime.
