Description
August's Maker’s Edition is forged in collaboration with Isal knives—uniting two Catalan coastal knife makers to create a knife that is, both visually as well as functionally, outstanding. Made from Aogami Super Steel San-Mai, clad in Stainless and finished with a deep Black Kurochi and forced patina, each blade is hardened to 63-64HRC for exceptional sharpness and responsiveness—a tool for skilled, careful hands. The tapered handle, a rarity in our lineup, is crafted from local Oak and Walnut with Tan and Black leather spacers, a solid Brass bolster and a Black Micarta pommel, delivering perfect balance. Sharpened by Ayanori Suzuki, this is a collector’s piece built for beauty, performance, and exclusivity.

Care
Do not place in the dishwasher. Wash using a mild detergent and a non-abrasive sponge.
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid cutting on glass, metal, ceramic, or bamboo surfaces to prevent blade dullness. Before extended storage, apply mineral or camellia oil to the blade and handle using a cloth.
