I am humbled and proud to share that I have been recognized as a Master Artisan by the Homo Faber Foundation, an initiative of the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship.

The Michelangelo Foundation was created to support and preserve exceptional craftsmanship around the world—to ensure traditional skills, materials, and know-how continue to thrive in a modern context. Homo Faber is one of their main platforms, dedicated to showcasing the people behind these crafts—makers who combine heritage, creativity, and technical excellence.

Being included among such talented artisans from around the globe is an incredible honour. It is a reminder of how far we have come on this journey—from a small workshop and a few prototypes, to being part of an international community that values the hands, minds, and stories behind the work.

At Florentine Kitchen Knives, our goal has always been to merge traditional techniques with a modern perspective—to make knives that are precise, durable, and honest, but also beautiful. This recognition isn’t just about me; it belongs to our whole team here in Barcelona, who continue to shape, grind, and polish every piece with care and intent.
