An exclusive two-day workshop with Tomer Botner and Geoff Feder from Feder Knives.
Geoff and Tomer and the team at Florentine Kitchen Knives here in Barcelona, will host TWO-DAY weekend, knife-making workshop for 8 people! The workshop will take place on the 5th and 6th of July 2025
Craft a large kitchen knife from start to finish—choose from a selection of blade styles and learn every step of the knife-making process – from grinding and finishing to shaping, polishing, sharpening, and engraving. Each participant will customise their own knife with our signature stacked handle using Micarta, wood, leather and Brass.
Finally, participants will learn traditional Japanese whetstone sharpening techniques with master sharpener Ayanori Suzuki from The Sharpening Shop.
Our workshops are ideal for beginners with no prior experience. Experienced makers looking to refine their skills are very welcome—the workshop features plenty of opportunities to learn something new. Participants will spend 3 to 4 hours each day working closely with the Florentine Kitchen Knives team, and enjoy a one-hour sharpening class.
To top it off, we’ll share a dinner together, prepared on the Florentine Kitchen Knives rooftop deck. A Spanish-style breakfast will be provided on both days.
Once this class fills up we will open a second workshop on the 28th and 29th of June 2025
We’re happy to assist with travel and accommodation recommendations (though these are not included in the workshop price). Feel free to reach out to us at info@florentinekitchenknives.com with any questions.
