    The April Maker's edition is our take on a Ko-Deba. This is a knife that brings precision and power to small butchery tasks. Its compact 200mm profile and 40x90mm blade excel at detailed work, breaking down small fish and poultry, deveining, trimming delicate proteins, and even intricate vegetable prep. The 3mm Nitro X7 steel, hardened to 60HRC, holds a razor-sharp edge while resisting corrosion, making it equally at home with seafood or animal product.

    Hand-ground and finished to our exacting standards, each of the 36 pieces in this batch reflects meticulous craftsmanship and our commitment to functionality. The blade arrives protected by a yellow magnetic guard. The handle combines vibrant composite with black leather in thin alternating stripes, offering both grip security and visual character. A versatile specialist for cooks who demand precision in a nimble package.

    Care

    Do not place ​in the dishwasher. Wash using a mild detergent and a non-abrasive sponge.
    Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid cutting on glass, metal, ceramic, or bamboo surfaces to prevent blade dullness. Before extended storage, apply mineral or camellia oil to the blade and handle using a cloth.  ​
