These "Simple" butter knives are made from 1.5mm thick, stainless spring steel, Designed and decorated with drawings by Oded Webman, ground and finished by hand at our workshop. Each piece follows Oded's graphic language, translating his illustrations into tactile, functional objects.
The knives are laser-cut, carefully ground, and finished to achieve a clean and a soft satin finish and a functional edge suitable for everyday use. The drawings are converted to a file and laser etched into the steel surface. There are four different designs in the series: Crocodile · Key · Leaf · Wood Pattern.
Originally designed for the table knife project butter knife edition and made to be used for spreading condiments, these knives sit comfortably in the hand and age naturally over time.
