Description
The August Maker’s edition—our super high hardness Steel Slicers, a fusion style Slicer/Sujihiki, and one of our favourite's to date. Comes with a matching blade guard.
With a long, narrow blade, the slicer allows you to cut large or small produce in one fluid motion. This knife is optimised for creating thin, even slices, making it an essential tool for preparing Sushi, carving roasts, and portioning poultry or ham. In the most skilled of hands, it can also be used as an all purpose cutting board knife. The slicer's design minimises friction and tearing, ensuring a clean cut every time, elevating your culinary presentations with perfectly sliced cuts.
We used Wolfram Special—English carbon mono-steel which reach a super high hardness of 63-64 HRC to make an awesome high performance tool. It's worth mentioning that with hardness comes more fragility and these lives should be handled with care.
All hand sharpened by Master sharpener Nori-san.
